The Blogger

Sam is the Technology Advisor and co-founder of Atmosphere Tech. Limited (UK and Nig.). A clean/renewable energy company with offices in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Aberdeen.  He has Masters Degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and in Energy Management (with Distinction), from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, UK.  Trained in Gas Turbine Operations and Maintenance, at the KOSPO Technology Centre, Sinincheon 1,800 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant, Incheon, South Korea, and began engineering practice with Sahara Power Group (operating her GE Nuovo Pignone MS5001 Gas Turbines in Port Harcourt).  He spent four years managing Brainbox Matrix Limited (a PH based engineering design and training firm), and has embarked on a number technology entrepreneurships including, Webinvent Ltd (IT/Web Applications Company) and TeepGreen Services Ltd.

He obtained his B.Tech. Degree in Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt in 2007, chairing the graduation planning committee of his class that put together a year book, launch and awards ceremony. He served as General Secretary of his department’s students association, having earlier been Provost of the university-wide SEDME Academic Association, and Coordinator of the South-South Youth Assembly, student’s wing. He was also elected Speaker of the Student’s Union Government (SUG) Parliament, RSUST. He obtained his First School Leaving Certificate at Aladumo Educational Centre, Port Harcourt in 1995.

With varied work experiences, from the Nigeria LNG Ltd, Bonny Island, to Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, and training as a Knowledge Development Facilitator of the  Millennium Development Goals, he served as  President, MDGs Community Development Service Group NYSC, Awka, Anambra State 2008/09, successfully executing several community development projects, and was producer of ‘Call to Action’ a weekly radio programme on Federal Radio  Corporation Nigeria FRCN  (Purity 102.5 FM  Awka).

In June 2009 he received Certificate of Recognition from the Asst. Comptroller of Prisons, Nigerian Prison Service, Awka, for his volunteer service as Chemistry Teacher, Nigerian Prisons School.

A thoroughbred professional and Polymath with interest in innovative technology, he is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) chartered, a Corporate Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Port Harcourt Chapter, member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), associate member of the Energy Institute (EI) United Kingdom, and a registered engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) since 2015

Philomath, opinion leader, writer and researcher, he has several published articles on social, academic, political and religious issues in journals, newspapers and Magazines, some of which are thereafter posted on this blog. Passionate about national transformation, he is affiliated with
